**What will be your mission?** As a **Waiter (M/F)**, you will be responsible for ensuring table service, from preparing the mise\-en\-place to attending customers, providing information and promoting restaurant products and other hotel outlets in order to maximize consumption and deliver high\-quality, excellent service that exceeds customer expectations. **What will you do?** * Deliver excellent customer service, promoting customer satisfaction. * Welcome and greet all customers upon arrival at the restaurant. * Maintain direct and frequent contact with customers during meals and events (breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, coffee breaks, etc.). * Recognize regular customers, paying attention to their preferences. * Know and promote all products and services available at the hotel's restaurant. * Review daily specials and menu changes daily with the kitchen team. * Manage restaurant reservations and corresponding table arrangements. * Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time. * Clean restaurant tables and meeting rooms as required. * Follow internal procedures to guarantee quality service according to hotel standards. * Deliver receipts and collect invoice payments using the point\-of\-sale system, processing cash, credit and debit card transactions. * Apply upselling techniques, identifying opportunities to increase revenue for the F\&B Department. * Ensure all sales points/outlets are clean, tidy and ready to receive guests. * Knowledge and compliance with HACCP hygiene and safety regulations. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Professional experience in similar roles. 4 or 5 star hotels or upscale restaurants/bars (preferable). * Vocational training in Hospitality or F\&B (preferable)? * Knowledge of local language and English (fluent spoken level). * Passion for service and strong customer orientation. * Professional demeanor, genuine smile, neat appearance and friendliness. * Good organizational skills and attention to detail. * Active listening and effective communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Aptitude for sales/ selling hotel products and services. * Ability to handle and manage stressful situations and complaints. * Flexible working hours. * Knowledge of HACCP hygiene and safety standards. * Computer skills: platforms used in restaurant/bar/hotel industry (Microsoft Office, POS, etc.), among others. **Why choose us?** At **Minor Hotels Europe \& Americas**, we are committed to creating exciting careers worldwide and intercultural experiences.
