We are seeking a Systems Administrator to strengthen Motorline's IT team, responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and security of the group's technology infrastructure. We seek a candidate with intermediate to senior-level experience in this role. **Responsibilities** * Administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers * Management of VMware (vSphere) virtualization infrastructure * Administration of backups and recovery plans using Veeam Backup \& Replication * Management of Cisco switches and network infrastructure * Administration of Palo Alto firewalls and network security policies * Monitoring and incident response via Cortex XDR * Endpoint management through Endpoint Central * Active Directory administration (users, GPOs, groups, permissions) * Maintenance and support for SQL Server databases * Documentation of procedures, incidents, and infrastructure changes * Participation in continuous infrastructure IT improvement projects **Mandatory Requirements** * Practical experience in systems administration (Windows Server and Linux) * Knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere) * Experience with backup solutions (Veeam preferred) * Networking knowledge and Cisco equipment experience * Basic to intermediate firewall security knowledge (Palo Alto or equivalent) * Solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy * Some experience or strong interest in cybersecurity (threat detection, incident response, hardening) * Ability to work independently and collaboratively * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Fluent Portuguese (written and spoken) **Preferred (not mandatory)** * Direct experience with Cortex XDR/XSIAM or other EDR/SIEM platforms * Experience with Endpoint Central (ManageEngine) or similar endpoint management solutions * Knowledge of SQL Server administration (maintenance, backups, basic troubleshooting) * Technical certifications: VMware VCP, CCNA, Veeam VMCE, PCNSA/PCNSE (Palo Alto), CompTIA Security\+, or equivalents * Experience in multi-company/multi-site environments * Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) **What We Offer?** * Permanent employment contract * Initial training and mentoring * Integration into a renowned company in your industry * Salary commensurate with role and demonstrated experience * Unique dining area with views over the city of Barcelos * Annual Motorline team social event Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
