Surveillance and Prevention Continuously monitor the aquatic area under responsibility. Assess environmental risks (currents, wave action, depth, weather conditions). Prevent hazardous situations by warning users about risky behavior. Ensure compliance with beach safety rules and signage. 2\. Aquatic Rescue and Lifesaving Perform aquatic rescues for swimmers in distress or at risk of drowning. Correctly use available rescue equipment and resources. Act swiftly, effectively, and safely, safeguarding one’s own physical integrity. 3\. First Aid and Basic Life Support Provide first aid to victims of accidents or sudden illness. Perform basic life support (BLS) maneuvers, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), when necessary. Stabilize the victim until specialized emergency services arrive. 4\. Coordination with Emergency Entities Report incidents to competent authorities. Collaborate with other safety and rescue professionals. Complete incident reports where applicable. 5\. Equipment Maintenance and Control Daily inspection of rescue and first-aid materials. Ensure proper storage and maintenance of equipment. Report equipment malfunctions or shortages. 6\. Public Information and Assistance Provide users with information regarding safety conditions and space usage.
