Promotion of research networks and partnerships **Vacancy Code:**OE202511/0063 **Vacancy Type:**Open Competitive Procedure **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation **Agency/Service:**Polytechnic Institute of Guarda **Employment Relationship:**Fixed-Term Contract under the Public Employment Statute (CTFP) **Duration:**12 months **Work Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Senior Technician **Category:**Senior Technician **Complexity Level:**3 **Remuneration:**Level 16 or 26 **Monthly Supplement:**0.00 EUR **Job Position Description:**This competition concerns a position whose functional content corresponds to the general career of Senior Technician, specifically supporting the development of cooperation with CEPESE – Centre for Population, Economy and Society Studies – and other cross-cutting tasks, namely: * Representing the Institution at CEPESE and at scientific meetings, partnerships, and official bodies related to Social Sciences and Humanities; * Designing, developing, and monitoring the implementation of projects and activities arising from the institutional cooperation established between IPG and CEPESE; * Preparing proposals to secure national or international funding in the fields of humanities and social sciences or in other related areas; * Supporting the management of research centres and study centres; * Establishing partnerships with external entities that add value to the achievement of the Institution’s strategic plan; * Participating in the preparation of projects and proposals requiring historical and sociocultural contextualization, following an interdisciplinary approach; * Promoting the Institution’s integration into national and international research networks and its collaboration with foreign higher education institutions and research centres; * Producing reports on emerging trends in scientific research and teaching in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities; * Organizing scientific meetings, workshops, and cultural extension activities in the fields of History and Sociology; Supporting the production of internal and external communication materials; * Collaborating with local authorities and other public entities in designing and organizing projects for the preservation of historical and cultural heritage; * Recovering, creating, and managing archival systems, historical databases, and academic repositories, promoting their preservation and accessibility; * Updating library collections, including identifying open-access academic digital libraries and documentary platforms. 5.2 The functional description in section 5.1 does not preclude the assignment to the worker of duties not expressly mentioned therein, provided they are similar or functionally related, for which the worker possesses adequate professional qualifications, and which do not entail professional devaluation, as stipulated in Article 81(1) of the Public Employment Statute (LTFP). 5.3 The duties inherent to this job position shall be performed on an exclusive basis. **Workplace** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Polytechnic Institute of Guarda 1 Avenida Dr. Francisco Sá Carneiro, n.º 50 Guarda 6300559 GUARDA Guarda Guarda **Total Number of Positions:**1 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**0
