Specifically, responsibilities include: Forest Planning and Management \- Develop, monitor, and update the Municipal Forest Fire Protection Plan (PMDFCI); promote sustainable forest management and rural spatial planning in coordination with regional and national entities (ICNF, ANEPC, CCDRC, ARH, CIMRBSE); identify and characterize forest areas within the municipality, maintaining updated forest cartography; support implementation of forest management plans for public, community, and private properties; inspect and ensure compliance with legal obligations concerning fuel management; develop and implement the mandatory annual municipal operational plan; support public training and awareness initiatives on fire prevention; promote meetings of the Municipal Integrated Rural Fire Management Commission, providing advisory and secretarial support. Afforestation \- Assess projects under the Legal Framework for Afforestation and Reafforestation (RJAAR), verify alignment with regional forest planning instruments and other territorial planning documents; inspect such projects; ensure maintenance of afforestation in compliance with legal standards, including protected species or those of ecological and heritage significance; draft technical reports and opinions regarding interventions in urban tree cover, ensuring compatibility with municipal planning; conduct urban tree inventory and draft associated legally mandated regulations. Issuance of Opinions on Licensing \- Issue mandatory technical opinions on licensing applications affecting forest land or land located within 50 meters thereof, pursuant to Decree\-Law No. 82/2021 of 13 October, as currently in force. Support for Applications and Financing \- Support preparation and submission of applications to national and European Union funding programs related to: forest management and restoration, urban afforestation and landscaping, fire prevention, sustainability, and biodiversity. Post\-Fire Recovery Support \- Collaborate in mapping burnt areas and developing recovery and reforestation plans; support landowners and communities in restoring forest potential and urban green spaces; prepare applications for Municipal Emergency Funds and for private individuals. Perform all tasks requested as necessary and inherent to fulfilling the assigned mission and aimed at achieving objectives set forth by superiors; know and apply legal and regulatory provisions, as well as orders and instructions from hierarchical superiors, and perform duties in accordance with established objectives and using appropriate competencies; provide support to all organic units of the Municipal Council; undertake any other tasks/projects assigned within the scope of professional qualifications.
