As an IT Operations Systems Engineer, you will join a specialized team responsible for operating, supporting, and continuously improving technology infrastructures—including networking, systems, cloud, and security environments. You will be involved in operating and supporting solutions for medium- and large-scale clients, with responsibility for incident management, advanced troubleshooting, and implementation of operational improvements. You will also closely collaborate with Warpcom Command Center teams—where the IT Operations team is embedded—as well as with Technical Services teams regarding operations, project transition to operations, and advanced support. The IT Operations team is part of the Warpcom Command Center and is distributed across Warpcom’s Portuguese offices (Lisbon, Porto, and Funchal), collaborating daily both onsite and via Webex and Outlook. This position is based in Lisbon. *If you’re interested in a career filled with constant challenges, working alongside a professional team at one of the top technology companies, this is your opportunity*! **Your Responsibilities:** * Ensure operation and support of IT infrastructures (networking, systems, cloud, and security); * Manage and resolve incidents and service requests, ensuring SLA compliance and service quality; * Perform Level 2 and Level 3 technical troubleshooting on IT infrastructures; * Analyze complex incidents, identify root causes, and propose mitigation and improvement actions; * Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and standardization; * Collaborate with pre-sales and project teams during transition to operations (handover and knowledge transfer); * Participate in change management processes, ensuring production environment stability; * Proactively engage in operational improvement initiatives and internal tool development. **What You Bring:** * 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, support, or related fields; * Experience in troubleshooting IT infrastructures (networking, systems, virtualization, and/or cloud); * Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, L2/L3 troubleshooting); * Knowledge of systems, virtualization (VMware/Broadcom) and/or cloud (Azure or AWS); * Production environment experience, including incident management and resolution; * Experience with monitoring, ticketing, and ITSM tools; * Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, or Dell/EMC (certifications are valued); * Documentation skills and a critical mindset for continuous improvement; * Strong communication and teamwork abilities; **What You Can Expect:** * Integration into an experienced and ambitious team; * Continuous training and career advancement opportunities; * Innovative culture focused on technology; * Hybrid work policy; * Competitive remuneration aligned with responsibilities; *Apply now and send your CV to:* *\* Information about data retention is available in our Privacy Policy at \.
