You will act as both a **team lead and hands‑on data expert**, supervising Data Stewards while actively contributing to data validation, governance, and process optimisation. Your role will be key in enabling high‑quality data that supports operational processes and business decision‑making. **Job location:** Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid – 3 days/week on\-site) **Contract type:** Employee **Target start date:** June 2026 **Working hours:** Full\-time (40h/week) **Compensation:** €35,000 – €42,000 gross per year **Note:** All applications (CVs) must be submitted in English.. **Your Impact** --------------- In this role, you will: * Lead and support a team of **Data Stewards**, ensuring high standards in data collection and validation * Collaborate with upstream design and business teams to understand expected data processing flows and business logic. * Ensure **data quality, consistency, and governance** across systems and processes * Actively participate in **data collection, validation, and reconciliation activities** when needed * Detect data issues early, assess risks, and coordinate **corrective actions with stakeholders** * Validate datasets before and after **ETL processes, feeding data warehouses and BI tools** * Run **ETLs, Python scripts (via Dataiku), and Excel\-based validations** * Ensure reliability of key business entities across systems and **alignment with governance standards** * Support the deployment of the **Pwise e‑procurement platform** by preparing and validating procurement data * Deliver **analysis\-ready datasets** for reporting and business analytics use cases * Propose and implement **process improvements** to enhance data quality, automation, and efficiency * Promote a **data quality culture** across teams and stakeholders **What Makes This Role Challenging** ------------------------------------ * You will work in a **complex enterprise data environment with multiple dependencies** * You must ensure **high data quality under tight project timelines** * You will balance **leadership responsibilities with hands\-on execution** * You will interact with diverse stakeholders requiring **clear communication and alignment** * Data accuracy is critical, with a **direct impact on business operations and analytics** **What We’re Looking For** -------------------------- ### **Must\-haves** * Proven experience in **data management, data quality, or data governance roles** * Strong understanding of **data quality principles and their system\-wide impact** (e.g., differences such as 1234 vs. 01234\). * Ability to **interpret and navigate data models** (structures, relationships, constraints) * Hands\-on experience with **ETL processes, data validation, and reconciliation** * Experience working with **Excel, ETL tools, and data platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Python scripting)** * High level of rigour, precision, and ability to conduct thorough data checks. * Experience working within **large organisations, with an understanding of dependencies, risks, deadlines**, and cross\-team coordination. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non\-technical stakeholders * Dynamic, proactive, and communicative mindset, comfortable engaging with users to understand issues and propose solutions. * **Fluency in French** (spoken and written) for complex interactions with business stakeholders. * **Fluency in English** * Must be a **Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal** ### **Nice\-to\-haves** * Experience in **consulting environments** * Exposure to **data governance frameworks and enterprise data models** * Experience working on **procurement or ERP\-related data projects** * Familiarity with **data quality tooling or automation approaches** **How Our Salary Ranges Work** ------------------------------ At Keyrus, salary ranges reflect **different levels of mastery and impact within the same role** — not different job titles. * **Bottom of the range** You meet the core requirements and will need ramp\-up time and support. * **Middle of the range** You are fully autonomous from Day 1 and deliver consistently. * **Top of the range** You are a reference for the role, mentor others, and raise the bar for the team.
