Represent the department or service in matters within its area of expertise, making technical decisions framed by directives or higher-level guidance, namely: Reference A: Ensure supervision and control over the execution of public works contracts, ensuring their proper progress, compliance with approved designs, and coordination regarding safety and health on site, in accordance with applicable legislation; prepare measurement reports for works carried out under Multiannual Investment Plans and monitor corresponding invoicing; ensure provisional and final acceptance of awarded works and their respective contract accounts; prepare budgets for private individuals upon requests for connections to networks managed by Mafra Municipal Water and Sanitation Services (SMAS); supervise and control works executed by private individuals, particularly preparatory works prior to installation of domestic service connections, extensions, or renewals of water supply or wastewater drainage networks; guarantee inspections of building connections to networks managed by Mafra SMAS following private construction licensing applications; ensure, through subcontracting, restoration of pavements affected during works executed via direct administration; ensure, following Multiannual Investment Plan contracts or third-party-executed extensions, updating of the water and wastewater drainage network cadastre by providing necessary information to DISIC; coordinate supervisory activities across various organizational units, assisting in identifying violations and measures to be adopted, especially regarding information and prevention for similar situations.
