Focus on hygiene, health, and occupational safety standards **Offer Code:**OE202606/1670 **Offer Type:**Competitive Procedure for Establishing a Reserve Pool for an Organ/Servicen **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Municipal Councils **Organ/Service:**Sintra Municipal Council **Employment Link:**Indefinite-term Public Employment Contract (CTFP) **Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Operational Assistant **Category:**Operational Assistant **Complexity Level:**1 **Remuneration:**934.99 € **Monthly Supplement:**0.00 EUR **Job Position Description:**Career and Category \- Operational Assistant / Activity Area \- Locksmithing Brief Function Description: Perform cutting and welding of metal structural assemblies, ensuring their construction and application in workshops, buildings, bridges, railings, handrails, boilers, window frames, interpreting drawings and other technical specifications, using different materials for execution, ensuring proper assembly, correcting deficiencies, and guaranteeing effective operation in accordance with hygiene, health, and occupational safety standards, which may involve physical effort. 4.2 – Main Activities: * Prepare and organize work by interpreting drawings and technical specifications, analyzing safety conditions, task characteristics, and inherent risks, which may involve physical effort; * Construct and install light metal structures in workshops for buildings, bridges, boilers, window frames, or other works; * Cut and shape steel sheets, aluminum profiles, and tubes using mechanical shears, blowtorches, saws, or other methods, drilling and countersinking holes for bolts and rivets; * Join metal components using bolts, rivets, electrode welding machines, semi-automatic welding, or other methods; * Visually inspect metal parts and structures or use measuring and control instruments during various execution stages, verifying dimensions, shapes, surface conditions, and other part characteristics, performing or arranging necessary corrections; * Use various tools and equipment for assigned tasks, such as hydraulic jacks, mallets, hammers, wedges, cutting, welding, and heating materials; * Assist in loading, unloading, transporting, assembling, and disassembling stages, covered or uncovered structures, workbenches, sports venues, and other equipment; * Perform other unspecified simple manual tasks requiring primarily physical effort and practical knowledge; * Be responsible for facilities, tools, and equipment under their custody and for their correct usage, performing cleaning, maintenance, and, when necessary, repair; * Comply with occupational health, safety, and hygiene rules and with proper use of individual and collective protective equipment to prevent workplace accidents.
