Autonomous, organized, and responsible work within an atelier environment WE ARE HIRING \| BRIDAL GOWN PATTERN MAKER STOA Atelier, a made-to-measure bridal gown atelier located in Campo de Ourique (Lisbon), is seeking a Fashion Pattern Maker specialized in Bridal / Haute\-Couture to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience, passion for detail, and genuine expertise in bridal gown construction. WHAT WE SEEK * Minimum of 10 years of professional pattern-making experience * Proven experience with bridal gowns, ceremonial wear, or haute\-couture * Proficiency in women's pattern making and custom-fit pattern making * Ability to transform sketches and concepts into precise, well-structured patterns and garments * Experience in fittings, pattern corrections, and adapting patterns to each bride's silhouette * Knowledge of corset, bodice, and internal structure construction (preferred) * Experience working with delicate fabrics such as tulle, lace, organza, satin, crepe, mikado, among others * Knowledge of cutting, sewing, and assembly * Excellent attention to detail, precision, and sense of proportion * Ability to work autonomously, in an organized and responsible manner WE VALUE * Prior experience in a bridal gown atelier * Knowledge of moulage / draping * Experience developing prototypes directly from sketches * Education in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, or equivalent ROLE The selected candidate will oversee the development of our gowns—from interpreting sketches and creating patterns to fittings, adjustments, and final garment construction. We seek someone with skill, experience, and sensitivity to discern the difference between a well-made garment and a truly exceptional one.
