You will be responsible to:: We are looking for an Engineer to support the design and execution of engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with GMP and company standards. * Define and contribute to User Requirement Specifications (URS), translating process and operational needs into technical requirements (incl. ergonomics, operability, and maintainability) * Develop engineering solutions across conceptual, basic and detailed design phases, ensuring alignment with process requirements, GMP and regulatory standards * Produce and review key engineering deliverables (P\&IDs, layouts, URS, specifications, datasheets, technical reports) * Lead/support technical evaluations during procurement processes (bid analysis, vendor selection, technical clarifications, FAT/SAT follow\-up) * Ensure completeness and technical robustness of project documentation to support competitive tendering processes * Develop and control project budgets, CAPEX estimates, and execution schedules, ensuring cost and timeline adherence * Define and standardize engineering solutions based on best available technologies and lifecycle cost optimization * Oversee construction, installation, commissioning and qualification (IQ/OQ support) activities, ensuring compliance with design intent and GMP requirements * Interface with multidisciplinary teams (process, utilities, automation, QA, production) to integrate engineering solutions into the final system design * Identify, analyse and resolve technical deviations, risks and project constraints during execution phase * Ensure execution activities comply with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements (EHS, GMP, internal SOPs/COPs) * Support audits and inspections by providing technical documentation and justification of engineering decisions * Collect and analyse operational data, user feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and future design optimization * Propose and implement technical improvements (process optimisation, new technologies, CAPEX efficiency) * Provide technical guidance and act as a knowledge resource for junior engineers We are looking to recruit a Candidate:: * Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related field) — mandatory * Relevant experience in the execution of industrial engineering projects in operational/production environments * Exposure to project lifecycle activities (design, procurement, construction, commissioning) * Experience working in GMP environments (preferential) * Knowledge of HSE practices and requirements applicable to industrial projects (preferential) * Solid understanding of industrial project execution and engineering fundamentals * Ability to interpret and develop technical documentation (e.g. P\&IDs, layouts, specifications, reports) * Experience with design tools (e.g. AutoCAD or equivalent) * Knowledge of cGMP, GEP and applicable regulatory/legal requirements * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills applied to technical contexts * Good command of English (written and spoken) * Proficient in MS Office tools **Hovione is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer** Inclusion and diversity are key to us.
