Teixeira Duarte \- Engineering and Construction is recruiting a Project Controls Manager (m/f) for Building, Infrastructure, and Public Works contracts to reinforce the Planning and Cost Control team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the subcontracting work plan in real time in an integrated manner, anticipating deviations and requirements regarding human and material resources, considering the initially agreed schedule, and identifying needs to revise associated assumptions—namely scope, schedule, and risks—during control cycles;
* Define the baseline work plan for the contract aimed at meeting the scheduled completion date, establishing the critical path and identifying key milestone dates for the contract, as well as the required resources for each task—including key human resources, equipment, and materials to be monitored within cost management;
* Monitor, update, and develop the contract work plan aimed at meeting the agreed completion date, managing the Baseline, updating Progress, controlling the critical path and key milestone dates for the contract, as well as the required resources for each task—including key human resources, equipment, and materials to be monitored;
* Support the adoption and use of project management procedures, templates, and systems, contributing to systematizing and interpreting project progress and performance information;
* Work under the Central Directorate of Planning and Cost Control, collaborating with the respective Site Management teams for the contracts assigned;
* Report on key project constraints and present conclusions from the portfolio analysis to provide necessary information for decision-making processes;
* Functions performed at the Company’s Head Office, with regular visits to the assigned contracts or permanent presence on site.
Desired Profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
* Preferably 2–10 years of experience;
* Solid knowledge of planning and project management;
* Proficiency in MS Project and CCS CANDY;
* Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office tools;
* Experience in site supervision;
* Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility;
* Good interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in teams, and strong communication skills;
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);
* Willingness to travel within Portugal and abroad;
* Valid driver’s license.
