Working in IT at Kuehne\+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine. ‎ As an Application Security Architect (m/f/d), you will be a key member of our AppSec team. You will work closely with product teams, InfoSec, and other stakeholders to ensure secure product design and development. In this role, you will lead threat modeling, define security requirements, and support the integration of a secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC). You will also contribute to our global application security strategy. This position is ideal for someone with a strong AppSec background who enjoys collaborating across teams, mentoring others, and driving impactful security improvements at scale. **How you create impact** * Partner with product teams across the development lifecycle to build secure software and architectures. * Promote security initiatives and define clear security requirements for products and services. * Lead threat modeling and security design reviews to identify and reduce risks. * Contribute to the global AppSec strategy, including policies, best practices, and KPIs. * Support and grow a security champions program within engineering teams. * Deliver workshops, training, and knowledge\-sharing sessions for technical stakeholders. * Mentor AppSec engineers and support team growth and development. * Evaluate new AppSec tools and stay current on emerging threats and vulnerabilities. **What we would like you to bring** * 5\+ years of experience in Application Security and Security Architecture. * Strong knowledge of secure software and cloud architecture, design patterns, and threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE). * Experience with SSDLC practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. * Hands\-on development experience, ideally in enterprise environments (Java and/or Python). * Familiarity with AppSec tools such as SAST, SCA, and container security solutions. * Experience running security trainings or events (e.g., CTFs) is a plus. * Exposure to GenAI in a security context is a plus. * Strong collaboration and communication skills, with fluent English. **What's in it for you** You will have a direct influence on the future of logistics and IT.
