




Job Summary: We are seeking a continuous improvement- and problem-solving-oriented engineer to transform business units and support process digitalization across the IBG Group. Focus on real impact and agility in solution implementation **Description:** ---------------- At the IBG Group, we seek someone oriented toward continuous improvement who thinks like an engineer and acts as a true problem\-solver — working closely with top-tier consultants (Big Four), operational leaders, and on-site teams, with full autonomy to transform a business unit end to end. Based in Portugal, you will also have occasional travel opportunities to support transformation initiatives across other group units, ensuring direct connection with teams and operational reality. **Responsibilities:** * Map, analyze, and redesign organizational processes \- simplify, digitize, and eliminate waste. * Collaborate with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities with immediate impact. * Support (and sometimes lead) continuous improvement projects, ensuring implemented solutions function effectively and deliver value. * Actively participate in process digitization and automation. * Contribute to the adoption of market-leading digital tools. * Drive the internal network of continuous improvement champions and foster a culture of transformation. * Support simple, scalable pilots with rapid ROI \- zero bureaucracy, focus on impact. * Support definition and monitoring of operational and cultural KPIs. * Develop clear workflows, documentation, and reports to support decision-making. * Deliver internal training and awareness sessions. * Support projects on-site at business units across European and emerging markets. **Requirements:** ----------------- **Technical Skills:** * Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or related field; * Experience in process mapping and analysis; * Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; * Knowledge of automation and digitization tools (Power Automate, Bizagi, Power Apps, low\-code); * Familiarity with ERP systems; * Basic understanding of MES and CRM systems; * Ability to define and monitor KPIs; * Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma; * Project management capability; * Ability to produce clear documentation: flowcharts, manuals, reports. **Behavioral Skills:** * Critical thinking and problem-solving focus; * Easy, adaptable communication across diverse profiles and cultures; * Proactivity, curiosity, and constant desire to learn; * Team spirit and appreciation for collaborative work; * Results- and real-impact orientation (we do not favor projects that fail to move the needle); * Flexibility and ability to adapt to varied contexts; * Organization, accountability, and attention to detail; * Genuine passion for continuous improvement and organizational transformation.
