Job Summary: We are seeking a CAD/CAM Industrialization and Processes Technician to support the standardization and implementation of technical and production processes, aiming for greater consistency and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Active participation in defining work processes and methods 2. Functional growth with direct impact on the company's organizational structure 3. Involvement in industrialization and digitalization projects Role Context: MFA aims to strengthen its technical structure by hiring a CAD/CAM Industrialization and Processes Technician, tasked with supporting the standardization, structuring, and implementation of its technical and production processes—ensuring greater consistency among design, technical preparation, production, labeling, traceability, and integration across digital systems. This role will play a central part in internally developing work methods, technical rules, and operational workflows, contributing to improved information quality, reduced errors, increased production efficiency, and preparing the company for deeper digital integration among software, machinery, and production control. Main Mission: Support the definition, documentation, testing, and implementation of technical standards and processes related to design, production preparation, manufacturing, labeling, information flow, and integration among CAD/CAM systems, production equipment, and management tools. Key Responsibilities: - Support the creation and maintenance of the Internal Standards Manual, focusing on technical and production processes; - Structure and document project initiation rules, nomenclatures, organization criteria, and workflow procedures; - Support the definition, implementation, and improvement of CAD and CAM rules applied to custom furniture and joinery; - Collaborate in the configuration and use of Imos iX and/or Swood/SolidWorks systems, ensuring coherence between design, production, and technical output; - Monitor the definition of standardized production workflows, manufacturing processes, and component identification criteria; - Support the development of production labeling logic, ensuring legibility, traceability, and linkage to manufacturing operations; - Validate and test CAD/CAM data export to CutRite and other production-support systems; - Collaborate in implementing integration processes between technical software, machinery, and factory operations—including barcode reading and CNC program calling; - Monitor factory-floor tests, identify operational failures, and propose technical and process improvements; - Support future integration among technical data, production control, stock management, productive time tracking, and management systems; - Work closely with management, the technical team, operators, and external software and equipment partners. Desired Profile: We seek a highly organized individual with structured thinking and sensitivity toward technical and production processes—capable of acting as a bridge between the technical office, software, and production. We especially value: - Rigor, methodical approach, and attention to detail; - Ability to organize technical information and translate it into practical rules; - Capacity to understand end-to-end workflows—from design through production and assembly; - Interest in continuous improvement, standardization, and industrialization; - Strong learning ability and adaptability to demanding technical environments; - Sense of responsibility, discretion, and reliability. Preferred Qualifications: - Technical or higher education in fields such as: Product Design; Industrial Production Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Wood Technology; Technical Drawing / CAD-CAM; or equivalent disciplines with strong technical content; - Experience in custom furniture, joinery, technical carpentry, or similar industrial production environments; - Knowledge of technical CAD and interpretation of production drawings; - Knowledge of or exposure to software such as: Imos iX; Swood / SolidWorks; CAM / CNC software; CutRite; or equivalent systems; - Ability to understand relationships among components, materials, operations, machines, and production flows; - Proficiency in Excel and technical information organization; - Knowledge of production logic, labeling, technical bills of materials, article structures, process control, and system integration is advantageous. Additional Value-Adding Factors: - Experience in implementing or improving processes; - Exposure to CNC environments, edge-banding, cutting, and assembly; - Ability to test solutions in real factory settings; - Experience in parametrizing libraries, properties, rules, or automation features in CAD/CAM; - Interest in digital integration, traceability, production control, and industrial management systems. What This Role Is Not: This role is not solely focused on technical drawing nor exclusively on CNC programming. We seek a cross-functional profile capable of contributing to the overall organization and robustness of the entire production system. Medium-Term Role Objectives: - Help structure internal technical and production standards; - Improve consistency among design, technical preparation, and manufacturing; - Reduce information errors and rework; - Support implementation of standardized workflows; - Contribute to integration among CAD/CAM, cutting, CNC, labeling, and production control; - Support the company in building a solid foundation for growth, automation, and progressive digitalization. Work Model: On-site position requiring close coordination between the technical office and the factory floor, necessitating real-time process monitoring, testing, and continuous validation of implemented solutions. Offer: - Integration into a challenging project involving technical structuring and transformation of the company; - Active participation in defining processes, standards, and work methods; - Opportunity for growth within a role having direct impact on the company’s organization and evolution; - Involvement in industrialization, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects; - Terms to be defined according to experience and demonstrated profile.
