Role: Senior Data Engineer Location: Hybrid, Lisbon OR Porto, Portugal Required skills: * 6–9 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on cloud\-based data platforms and migration projects. * Significant experience with BigQuery, including schema design, complex SQL queries, performance optimization, and cloud cost management. * Solid experience with Cloud Composer, including creating, scheduling, monitoring, and debugging DAGs to orchestrate data flows, particularly in migration and integration scenarios. * Excellent command of SQL, with the ability to adapt and optimize queries for BigQuery. Experience with SQL Server is a plus. * In\-depth knowledge of Python for developing scripts for data migration, automation, and transformation, as well as interacting with GCP APIs. * Strong experience or understanding of data migration, particularly migrating databases from on\-premises SQL Server environments to GCP. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to assess existing systems, understand business requirements, design GCP\-based solutions, and troubleshoot complex migration and data pipeline challenges. * Good communication skills in English (B2 level required).
