Contributes to cost reduction and continuous improvement ##### **Mission** The mission of a Junior Production Engineer is to support the efficient execution of production activities, contributing to the planning, control, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The individual will collaborate in coordinating operations, ensuring quality and safety, and optimizing resource utilization, thereby ensuring that production objectives are met within agreed timelines and defined standards. **Your main responsibilities will be:** * Request and analyze quotation requests for machined parts; * Compare commercial proposals, delivery lead times, and suppliers’ technical capabilities; * Provide information for purchase requisitions according to internal procedures; * Monitor subcontracted part manufacturing, ensuring adherence to agreed deadlines; * Monitor deliveries and proactively address deviations; * Conduct prospecting, evaluation, and qualification of new suppliers; * Collaborate with Engineering, CNC Programming, Production, and Procurement departments; * Interpret technical drawings and clarify technical requirements with suppliers; * Track non-conformities and support implementation of corrective actions; * Contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement of the subcontracting process. **Profile and Requirements:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; * Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese, certified at C2 level; * User-level computer skills (MS Office, Excel); * Basic knowledge of production methods, lean manufacturing, and quality control; * Ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings; * Basic knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances; * Familiarity with SolidWorks (viewing models and drawings, measurements, file export); * Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes (milling, turning); * Relevant professional experience: preferably 0–2 years in an industrial production environment (internships and academic projects are valued); * Analytical, organizational, and planning abilities; * Results-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement; * Strong communication and teamwork skills; * Willingness to travel occasionally between facilities, if required. * **What We Offer You:** + An excellent working environment and an opportunity to make a difference; + Competitive salary commensurate with proven experience.
