




**Job Offer Code:**OE202510/0834 **Offer Type:**Common Public Selection Process **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation **Organization/Service:**University of Coimbra **Employment Link:**Fixed-term CTFP with indefinite termination **Regime:**Special Careers **Career:**Information Systems and Technologies Specialist **Category:**Information Systems and Technologies Specialist **Complexity Level:**3 **Remuneration:**1st pay position, level 24 **Monthly Supplement:**0.00 EUR **Job Position Characterization:**Design and application functions in the field of technological infrastructures within the scope of responsibility of the Service for Management of Information and Communication Systems and Infrastructures (SGSIIC), particularly in the area of Cybersecurity, with a high degree of complexity, being responsible, notably, for: Managing and operating TCP/IP-based networks, including configuration of static and dynamic routing (OSPF); Developing and maintaining scripts in languages such as Shell Script, Perl, Python, and PowerShell to automate tasks and improve processes; Applying fundamental principles of cybersecurity based on the CIA model (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability) to ensure information protection; Implementing and managing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, ensuring business recovery, contingency, and continuity in crisis situations; Applying cybersecurity risk management models, such as Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM), for risk identification and mitigation; Using threat taxonomy models, particularly AVOIDIT, to classify and understand attack vectors; Performing event correlation, pattern recognition, and log analysis for detecting security incidents; Applying encryption concepts in security solutions to protect data at rest and in transit; Implementing cybersecurity frameworks and conducting technical audits on systems and infrastructures; Ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with special focus on technical measures for personal data protection; Implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions based on modern models such as Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC); Integrating and administering LDAP directories (OpenLDAP), ensuring centralized authentication and automated permission synchronization; Developing secure REST APIs using the Flask framework (Python), including protection with JWT (JSON Web Tokens); Designing and implementing secure identity management architectures, ensuring permission definitions by system type and separation of duties; Automating system administration tasks using Ansible, particularly applying technical permissions on target systems; Using containerization technologies such as Docker for secure application isolation and management; Operating and administering infrastructure monitoring and management systems, with particular emphasis on tools like Zabbix; Administering and configuring Linux and Windows operating systems, ensuring their secure and efficient operation; Applying security best practices to Cisco IOS network devices, Linux servers, and hybrid environments (physical, virtual, and cloud).
