What you can expect Join our data team as a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize robust data pipelines on Azure and Databricks. Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver accessible, reliable, and actionable data across the organization. What you'll do * Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark; * Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost\-efficiency on Azure; * Build and manage data lakes and delta tables using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Delta Lake; * Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices across pipelines; * Collaborate with data scientists and BI developers to enable self\-service analytics; * Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and production jobs using tools like Azure Monitor and Databricks job runs; * Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. What you'll need * 5\+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles; * Strong expertise in Azure Cloud Services; * Proven experience with Databricks, Spark (PySpark or Scala), and Delta Lake; * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing; * Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); * Familiarity with data modeling techniques (Kimball, Star Schema, Data Vault); * Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Azure Purview, Unity Catalog, data lineage, data cataloging, metadata management).
