Manufactured by Cooler Master, this is a robust stock-cooling solution featuring four copper heatpipes making direct contact with the CPU, transferring heat to no fewer than 50 aluminum cooling fins. Cooling is handled by a 92 mm fan. The fan frame includes a small mode selector switch—“H” for High or “L” for Low—and two connectors for external control of the integrated RGB lighting: one enables direct control via the motherboard, the other via USB 2.0. By default, the lighting displays a highly distinctive rainbow effect. It is immediately apparent that the Prism is clearly superior to the Spire—not only in CPU cooling performance but also in cooling the motherboard’s VRMs, a detail likewise worthy of attention. Conclusion The Wraith Prism proved to be a highly competent cooler, fully capable of maintaining the CPU at healthy temperatures and sustaining peak performance—or very close to it. Acoustically, it operates very quietly under normal usage, becoming more audible only under heavier workloads—but always remaining perfectly tolerable. This applies to the default “L” mode. The “H” mode is strongly discouraged except in emergencies—e.g., during the peak of summer in Alentejo. Its practical thermal benefits are minimal, while the acoustic penalty is substantial.
