Job Summary: We are seeking a Mold Fitter to ensure molds remain in optimal condition by performing necessary repairs and adjustments for packaging glass manufacturing. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of molds and components. 2. Performs welding, fitting, and grinding operations. 3. Collaborates in other activities of the mold workshop. Job Description We are looking for a **Mold Fitter (m/f)** for our Gallo Vidro factory in Marinha Grande. Reporting to the Mold Services Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining molds, counter-molds, and other components and accessories to ensure continuous production with tools in excellent condition. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Verify dimensions and condition of molds used in packaging glass manufacturing, using appropriate tools for this purpose. * Analyze molds and identify repair requirements according to existing instructions. * Perform welding, fitting, and grinding operations, as well as restore original mold profiles in affected areas. * Ensure all mold materials meet required conditions by carrying out associated tasks (cleaning, repair, and sealing) and selecting the most suitable machine tool for each operation. * Repair or adjust mouth molds as needed, based on requirements and available resources in the mold workshop. * Receive all tool parts or assemblies in the warehouse, approved by quality control, and store them according to the mold location file. * Prepare and deliver mold sets for production changeovers, in accordance with the schedule. * Collaborate in other activities of the mold workshop. **Requirements for the Role:** * Two years of experience in similar positions. * Knowledge of mold maintenance machinery (milling machines, lathes, etc.). * Ability to work diligently, attentively, energetically, and with dedication. * Availability to work rotating shifts (24-hour shifts), if required. **What We Offer:** * Stable employment project within a mature market. * Positive work environment and opportunities for professional growth. * Be Healthy Program (gym with free access, group classes, health and wellness initiatives, ...). * Initial and periodic training. * Other applicable benefits. **Next Step** Please submit your updated CV for this job opportunity. \#ChooseGlass and join the \#TeamVidrala.
