Summary: Join our team to contribute to the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3, working across design, prototyping, testing, and implementation of a complex UAV. Dynamic and collaborative working environment with real impact **Mission:** You will contribute to the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3, working across design, prototyping, testing and implementation. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands\-on with a complex UAV, solve real engineering challenges and see your work go from concept to a product that actually flies. Maybe you'll even learn how to fly the AR3! **Main Responsabilities:** * Support the mechanical development and continuous improvement of the AR3; * Translate engineering requirements and ideas into practical, functional and manufacturable mechanical designs; * Design, adapt and improve mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools; * Build, adapt and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on testing and real\-world results; * Support the development of product changes, from initial concept and design through prototyping, testing and implementation; * Identify mechanical issues and contribute to root cause analysis and practical solutions; * Work closely with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and other teams to bring products and improvements into production; * Consider manufacturability, materials, assembly and fabrication methods throughout the design process; * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AR3 platform. **Profile \& Rqeuirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field (mandatory); * Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software (preferred); * Previous experience in mechanical design, product development, prototyping or a similar environment is valued; * Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes; * Familiarity with fabrication methods such as 3D printing, machining and moulding is valued; * Good level of English (B2 or above); Portuguese is a plus; * Hands\-on and practical mindset, with a willingness to work directly with physical products and prototypes; * Proactive, curious and solution\-oriented; * Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail; * Team player, comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly. * Willingness to work on\-site across both Caldas da Rainha and Leiria. **What we have to offer you** * A dynamic and collaborative working environment, with the opportunity to make a real impact * A competitive salary package, aligned with your proven level of experience * Meal allowance and health insurance for employees * Shuttle transport service to the offices in Leiria, Caldas da Rainha and Ponte de Sor * Bonus in line with company policy * Access to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
