Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Management Engineer to lead the development and optimization of complex industrial projects focused on automation, robotics, and AI. Active participation in the company's growth and modernization **Job Reference:** Strengthen the Group's technical and strategic capabilities with a **Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Management Engineer** who will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of highly complex industrial projects in the extractive and manufacturing sectors. This role plays a central part in modernizing White Minerals and Corbário Group operations, with emphasis on automation, robotics, industrial digitalization, and integration with Artificial Intelligence, actively contributing to the business’s sustainable and distinctive growth. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop greenfield industrial projects for the extractive and manufacturing industries * Create innovative technical solutions regarding industrial layout, construction, and equipment integration * Propose, select, and integrate equipment featuring advanced automation and robotic systems * Develop digitalization solutions focused on productive efficiency and waste reduction * Integrate emerging technologies, with particular emphasis on AI applied to industrial operations * Coordinate all project phases: specifications documents, supplier selection, installation, and commissioning * Monitor production through regular analysis of KPIs and trend curves * Prepare statistical analyses and progress reports for senior management * Implement and monitor continuous improvement action plans (Lean methodologies) * Ensure communication and alignment among engineering, IT, and operations teams **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial engineering or project management roles (preferred) * Experience in planning, executing, and managing multidisciplinary industrial projects * Solid knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, and digitalization; familiarity with AI in industrial contexts * Proficiency in technical drawing tools (CAD) and project management software * Willingness to travel between Torres Vedras, Leiria, Aveiro, and Viseu * Preference for candidates residing in the Leiria / Pombal area * Competency Profile: · Technical / Engineering Knowledge · Project Planning and Management · Technical and Operational Leadership · Analytical Capability and KPI Management · Communication and Interpersonal Skills · Autonomy and Problem-Solving Ability · Innovation and Technology Orientation **We Offer:** * Involvement in ambitious and technologically differentiated industrial projects; * Active participation in the company's growth and modernization; * A dynamic, demanding, and highly autonomous work environment; * · Flexible working hours. **Applicants should send their CV and cover letter to:** rh@whiteminerals.pt Work Location: On-site
