Vilamoura International School is looking for an enthusiastic **Reception Class Teacher** to join our team in **December 2025**. The successful candidate will teach **Kindergarten (4\-year\-olds)** following an **International Curriculum**, ensuring a global approach to early childhood education that promotes inquiry\-based learning, creativity, and holistic development. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the International Curriculum for early years. * Foster a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment for young learners. * Encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through interactive activities. * Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. * Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:** * University degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. * Experience teaching in an international school or with an international curriculum (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or similar). * Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of early years pedagogy. * Strong organisational skills and adaptability to feedback. * Positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement. * Genuine care for student welfare and holistic development. * Confidence in using ICT to enhance learning experiences. * Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. **SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT** Inspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
