**I am a company:** Minor Hotels Europe \& Americas **What will be your mission?** ------------------------- As a **Sewing Machine Operator**, you will be responsible for sewing fabrics and garments as well as performing laundry duties. You must maintain the same high level of service and efficiency in the absence of the Laundry Manager. **What will you do?** -------------------- * Arrive at work punctually wearing the provided uniform, ensuring a clean and tidy appearance according to the employee manual. * Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, features and facilities, food and beverage outlets, spa and gym. * Ensure that all reports are prepared and completed timely. * Ensure proper procedures for handling chemicals are applied. * Ensure correct fabric treatment procedures are followed according to LSOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). * Make sure that LSOPs are available, up-to-date, enforced, and accessible to all employees for reference. * Avoid overtime by responding promptly to issues. * Ensure immediate response to any guest issues or correspondence. * Ensure that all non-inventory items found in the laundry are immediately taken to the lost and found department. * Conduct regular quality control inspections of departmental standards. * Regularly inspect machines for signs of wear, deterioration of hoses, belts, covers, etc. Record defects or maintenance requests in the database for technical team action. * Develop and maintain a working environment within the department that motivates employees and promotes positive relationships with other departments. * Ensure chemical waste is minimized. * Participate in required training sessions. * Attend meetings as necessary. * Perform tasks according to instructions from Hotel Management, Department and Section. **What profile are we looking for?** -------------------------- * At least a professional diploma in any field. * Minimum of 1 year as a Sewing Machine Operator or a quick transition from laundry through cross-training of at least 3 months. * Completion of essential skills. * Good interpersonal skills. * Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written. **Why choose us?** ------------------------- At **Minor Hotels Europe \& Americas**, we are committed to creating exciting careers worldwide and intercultural experiences.
