He holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Minho. He interned in Brussels at the Economic and Social Committee of the European Communities. For approximately ten years, he held senior management positions in companies belonging to a major Portuguese economic group. Starting in 2000, he began to realize that his life path needed to change. He made several choices that ultimately led him to life counseling work, where he recognized the importance of inspiring people. In this context, he began guiding patients through depression recovery and became deeply passionate about the Japanese therapy Reiki—and all the benefits it brings to this process. He became a Reiki Master and therapist, offering daily consultations in both Life Coaching (Life Counseling) and Reiki therapy. With the goal of reaching more people, he wrote this, his first book, and developed training courses on how to live without fear.
