Job Description Job Title: Casais Construction | Construction Planner | Sines Publication Start Date: 10/20/25 Job Description: **Family Mission** --------------------- Ensure effective and efficient planning, coordination, and control of production processes within the Casais Group, guaranteeing satisfaction of internal/external customers through timely delivery, compliance with applicable legislation, quality and safety standards, and at the lowest possible cost—achieved via appropriate allocation of financial, human, technical, and material resources—and acting in accordance with the Group’s ethics and Casais values. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- 1) Develop the Construction Work Program (e.g., resource allocation and revenue forecasts) in direct alignment with the Site Management Team, monitoring construction progress to identify deviations from the established plan; 2) Continuously develop and update detailed construction schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, defining activity sequences, milestones, and critical paths; 3) Monitor and support on-site resource allocation (human, materials, and/or equipment), aligned with requirements specified in the scheduled plan; 4) Ensure and/or carry out cross-disciplinary planning (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, and finishing works) to enable agile coordination of tasks and execution of the planned schedule; 5) Critically analyze the impacts of design changes and proactively propose adjustments to the established plan; 6) Identify risks of delay and develop recovery plans for alignment with the Site Management Team; 7) Prepare construction progress deliverables (e.g., reports and presentations) to identify performance indicators for the Site Management Team and/or client; 8) Ensure compatibility between project schedule and cash flow, from a construction timeline planning perspective; 9) Promote and integrate Lean Construction and the Last Planner System methodology to optimize construction planning. **Requirements** -------------- 1) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 2) Proven prior experience (3–5 years) in construction planning, preferably utilizing Primavera P6 for construction project management 3) Proficiency in English 4) Registration with the relevant Professional Association (preferred) 5) Willingness and ability to relocate 6) Training and/or certification in Lean Construction, Last Planner System, and Critical Path Method (mandatory) 7) Postgraduate qualification in Project Planning and Control (preferred) 8) Training and/or certification in BIM 4D (preferred)
