Changing the lives of millions of people Location Sousel Discipline: Production Job type: Fixed Term Full Time Job ref: 014848 We are expanding our manufacturing team at Rayner Biomaterials in Sousel, Portugal! The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture, sterilization, packaging, and inspection of ophthalmic viscoelastic device (OVD) products in accordance with approved procedures, GMP requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. **Please note this is a 9\-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension.** **What You'll Be Doing:** * Sterilization, assembling, blistering and packing of the final product in accordance with approved work instructions with the main objective of producing medical devices in accordance with quality requirements. * Carry out every final product sterilization and packing process steps in accordance with current work instructions. * Fill working documents for the daily production. * Report any deviations to Production Lead. * Work in accordance with EU\-GMP. * Where appropriate, work in accordance with aseptic working conditions. **What Experience \& Skills You Will Need:** * High school graduation. * Graduation in science or technology. (desirable) * Knowledge of aseptic work conditions.
