Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and OEM partners. #### **About the EWIS and Aircraft Lighting Design Engineer Role** We are seeking an EWIS and Aircraft Lighting Design Engineer to join the Aircraft Electrical Systems team, focusing on the development, specification, integration, and certification of aircraft electrical systems. The professional will hold a senior role in systems engineering activities—from requirements definition and management through validation, testing, and support for certification processes—ensuring compliance with applicable aviation regulations (EASA and FAA). The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and OEM partners. The team’s technical scope includes: * Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) * Electrical Power Generation & Distribution * Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) * Aircraft Lighting Systems * In-Flight Entertainment & Power Outlets * Wireless Transmission Capabilities ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred); * Senior professional experience (\+10 years) in aeronautical engineering; * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft design, testing, and certification processes, within OEMs or electrical systems / EWIS suppliers; * Proven experience with EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System); * Solid knowledge of systems requirements specification and management; * Experience with IBM DOORS and MATLAB / SIMULINK; * In-depth knowledge of the following standards and regulations: + SAE AS / ARP + RTCA DO-160 / EUROCAE ED-14 + FAA FAR Part 23, 91, 121, 135 + EASA CS-23 and EU-OPS + FAA AC & EASA AMC, with particular focus on: - 23.1309-1E (Safety) - AC 20-140 (Certification) - AC 20-130B (Lightning) - AC 20-158A (HIRF) * Fluency in English (spoken and written); * Ability to work independently, critical thinking skills, and strong orientation toward quality and safety. ### **Benefits** * Our company does not sponsor work visas or residence permits for employment purposes.
