Job Summary: We are seeking an Aeronautic Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process, contract negotiations, and supplier management in high-tech environments. Key Highlights: 1. We bridge cities, industry, and universities around major product and service development and industrialization programs, originating from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, and space. This Aeronautic Procurement opportunity will be integrated into the Aeronautics team. **Job Description** * Support and contribute to the process of sourcing, inquiry, planning, and selection of suppliers; negotiation of contracts and pricing for the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and aircraft systems, as well as continuous supply services, where applicable. * Collaborate in developing strategies related to competitive intelligence (cost, quality, product delivery, technological innovation, new products, and partnerships). * Ensure preparation, negotiation, and management of procurement contracts through administrative support or direct involvement (including direct negotiations with suppliers/partners). * Maintain up-to-date information on supply chains and markets, current prices, price evolution forecasts, and fair values for goods and services. * Manage suppliers with focus on strategic and operational aspects through performance indicators, ensuring fulfillment of agreed commitments. * Ensure supplier risk assessment and establish mitigation actions involving stakeholders, while preventing potential disputes and guaranteeing uninterrupted production/commercial operations. * Ensure preparation of ad hoc contractual documents to meet specific business needs, including research and cooperation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and supply contracts. * Ensure control and analysis of supply costs. * Interact with internal and external departments and interfaces, coordinating communication with suppliers. **Qualifications** * Academic degree in Management, Economics, Law, or related fields, provided suitability for the role is demonstrated. * Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in similar roles (procurement & supply chain), preferably within an Aeronautics OEM or Tier-1 supplier. * Excellent communication, coordination, adaptability to complex situations, and anticipation skills. * Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and interaction with suppliers. * Demonstrated experience in drafting and detailing supply contracts for equipment and systems integration into aircraft. * Knowledge of markets and suppliers for aircraft raw materials, systems, and equipment. * Experience in aircraft development and industrialization cycles. * Knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, technical and quality standards and regulations. * Experience in public procurement. * Advanced level of English language proficiency. * Proficiency in MS Office, SAP / ERP, and analytical tools. * Excellent communication, coordination, adaptability to complex situations, and anticipation skills. **Additional Information** * Dynamic, multidisciplinary team and a positive, relaxed working environment. * We facilitate and promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, harmonizing work with personal life. * Health insurance coverage for employees. * Partnerships with gyms, nutritionists, and other benefits. * Three additional vacation days. * Time off on the employee’s birthday.
