Job Summary: LUZA Group is seeking a Senior Hydromechanical Design Engineer to develop and optimize aerospace mechanical and hydraulic systems using advanced CAD tools and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an aerospace environment. LUZA Group is looking for a Senior Hydromechanical Design Engineer for the aerospace sector in Évora. The role will be responsible for designing and developing aerospace mechanical and hydraulic systems, using advanced CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks to create and optimize fluid actuation and control systems. The professional will directly collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform performance analyses, apply rigorous aerospace standards, and ensure proposed solutions align with manufacturing processes and industrial tolerances. **Responsibilities:** Develop and detail hydromechanical system and mechanical component designs in a CAD environment; Analyze the performance and structural integrity of hydraulic and mechanical systems, including pressure, flow, and kinematics; Collaborate with structural and avionics teams on component and tubing integration; Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards and regulations for fluid systems; Manage technical documentation, functional schematics, and related updates; Support production and functional testing phases; Adjust designs to meet manufacturing requirements and industrial tolerances. **Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Senior professional experience of more than 10 years in aerospace engineering; Solid experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems, including actuators, valves, and fluid circuits; Knowledge of metallic structural design, manufacturing methods, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T); Proven experience with 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM; Fluency in English, both spoken and written. **Preferred Qualifications:** Master’s degree in a relevant field; Experience with NX or SolidWorks. **Additional Information:** The company does not sponsor work visas or residence permits for employment purposes.
