Check below for more details about the Head of Software role. **Responsibilities and Duties** ----------------------------------- **You will:** * Define and implement the Innovation Lab’s software development strategy aligned with company guidelines; * Supervise the digital product lifecycle — from conception through delivery — ensuring high quality and efficiency; * Foster agile development and DevOps culture, ensuring automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD); * Explore new technologies and frameworks to drive innovation and increase competitiveness; * Collaborate closely with the Head of Innovation to align technological solutions with business needs; * Manage technology vendors and strategic partnerships; * Ensure implementation, maintenance, security, and scalability of software quality standards, including code reviews and testing strategies. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ **You must have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or equivalent; * Knowledge of cloud-based software architecture patterns, microservices, layered architecture, etc.; * Proficiency in more than one programming language; * Attention to detail and appetite for challenges; * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and serverless solutions; * Reside in the Alentejo region.
