Maintain hotel vehicles, tools, and equipment, including checking oil levels, tire pressure and wear, and performing any other preventive maintenance. Maintain appropriate maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies as needed. Maintain daily logs of operational, maintenance, and safety activities. Track the status of outstanding maintenance issues using a computer, logbook, or bulletin board. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, four-wheel carts, two-wheel rolling platforms, removable platforms, and overhead doors. Visually inspect inventory items to identify wear or defects. Comply with all company safety and policy procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and obtain required certifications; and store flammable materials safely. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs and fulfill them, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost savings. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery. Reach above shoulder height and below knee level, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Navigate inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid driver's license
