Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sampling Technical Manager to coordinate, supervise, and optimize sampling activities within the Directorate of Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, and Environmental Services, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a **Sampling Technical Manager** to join the **Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, and Environmental (CPE)** Directorate of the Welding Institute and Quality (ISQ), located in Oeiras.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate and supervise sampling activities, ensuring proper execution of services in the field.
* Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the Management System
* Guarantee the adequacy of technical and operational resources, ensuring that human resources, equipment, and materials are appropriate for service delivery.
* Plan and control sampling activities
* Develop sampling campaign plans and ensure their implementation, as well as proper allocation of resources.
* Optimize vehicle routes to reduce costs
* Liaise with clients to schedule external work
* Ensure technical compliance with services
* Ensure sampling activities are conducted according to technical requirements, procedures, and applicable standards.
* Ensure recording and traceability of activities
* Ensure correct completion and maintenance of evidence related to performed services.
* Review and validate technical documentation and verify compliance of documents required for service validation.
* Validate results and records in the management platform
* Identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement
* Monitor process performance and promote its continuous improvement.
* Implement corrective and preventive actions
* Ensure definition, monitoring, and effectiveness of improvement actions.
* Ensure registration, handling, and follow-up of complaints.
* Verify compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure adherence to standards, applicable legislation, and best practices.
* Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
* Manage client communication, acting as the interface and overseeing laboratory services
* Support proposals to increase the team’s annual revenue (VN) for sampling activities
**Qualifications:**
* Secondary education (12th grade) or Level IV professional technician qualification;
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in sampling activities within environmental testing laboratories;
* User-level computer skills (MS Office);
* Strong oral and written communication skills;
* Team-oriented mindset;
* Organizational and leadership capabilities.
