Main Responsibilities Conduct detailed technical inspections and expert assessments of properties (residential, commercial, and/or industrial). Identify and diagnose construction pathologies, anomalies, defects, and deficiencies in buildings. Prepare technically sound and well-founded expert assessment reports, including descriptions of pathologies, their probable causes, and recommended repair/rehabilitation solutions. Monitor and supervise the execution of correction and rehabilitation works, ensuring technical compliance. Provide technical consultancy to clients regarding building conservation and maintenance. Essential Requirements Higher academic degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven professional experience of at least 2 years. Knowledge of applicable legislation and technical standards in Portugal (e.g., Construction Regulations, Land Registry Code). Ability to use diagnostic tools and non-destructive testing methods (preferred): thermal imaging camera, CCTV camera, geophone, tracer gas. Relevant professional registration/certification (e.g., Portuguese Order of Engineers, Portuguese Order of Architects, CMVM certification as an Appraisal Expert—if applicable). Excellent oral and written communication skills, and report-writing ability. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
