We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician** for the Kimpton Atlântico Algarve in Albufeira. **Main Responsibilities, among others:** * Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance procedures on equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning); * Diagnose and resolve technical issues in equipment and systems; * Respond promptly to emergency calls; * Efficiently manage hotel equipment and materials; * Maintain and repair kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, elevators, security systems, etc.; * Maintain and manage inventory of replacement parts and materials required for maintenance tasks; * Inform management about equipment and/or systems requiring maintenance; * Actively communicate with other hotel departments; * Ensure cleanliness and uphold hygiene and quality standards; * Ensure all equipment has up-to-date technical documentation and remains in perfect working condition; * Record all interventions, including inspection reports, completed repairs, and part/equipment replacements; * Respond to guest requests related to maintenance issues; * Assist in the technical setup of events (e.g., column assembly; projectors; lighting; etc.). **Requirements:** \- Minimum education: Secondary Education \- 12th Grade or equivalent; * Strong communication and organizational skills; * Passion for hospitality and teamwork; * Availability to work rotating and shift-based schedules. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary package; * Benefits across various Highgate hotels; * Career development and progression opportunities.
