Collaboration within the operational team to achieve sorting and recycling objectives **Job posted:** May 27, 2026 **Number of positions:** 1 **Gender:** Male or female **Location:** Oliveira do Bairro ### **Job Description** At Misturas Milenares, we are looking for a Waste Sorting Operator to join our team and contribute to a more sustainable future by correctly separating, valorizing, and directing waste. ### **Candidate Profile** . Sorting and separation of waste originating from construction and demolition sites, including plastic, expanded polystyrene, wood, cardboard, metals, and mixed waste; . Identification and routing of different types of waste to their respective storage and recycling locations; . Separation of recyclable and non-recyclable materials according to the company’s internal procedures; . Support in loading, unloading, handling, and storage operations for waste; . Ensuring proper disposal of waste into designated containers and areas; . Proper use and handling of equipment and tools supporting sorting activities; . Strict compliance with applicable safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations; . Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the work area; . Visual inspection of waste and reporting of irregular situations or non-conforming materials; . Collaboration with the operational team to meet daily sorting, production, and recycling targets. ### **Requirements** . Compulsory education; . Residence near the workplace or in neighboring areas; . Forklift operation training (preferred but not mandatory); . Attention to detail for accurate sorting; . Agility and motor coordination for repetitive tasks; . Basic technical knowledge for operating equipment; . Ability to work effectively in a team; . Environmental awareness.
