#### **About the job Environmental Engineer\-Mining** **Job Description** We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to contribute their knowledge and skills to our sustainable infrastructure projects, mining projects. **Responsibilities** * Perform technical analysis of processes; * Conduct feasibility and productivity studies; * Implement optimizations and process improvements; * Establish and maintain operational routines; * Develop and review operational procedures; * Prepare detailed technical reports; * Submit inspection reports to health surveillance authorities; * Prepare technical reports to meet regulatory requirements; * Ensure compliance with legal requirements; * Interface with matrix areas such as Environment, Engineering, among others; * Analyze existing projects and processes; * Study and apply new technologies; * Evaluate the effectiveness of chemicals used; * Report process performance indicators; * Apply proactive tools for continuous improvement; * Address identified deviations and non-conformities; * Monitor audits, inspections and surveys; * Prepare technical presentations; * Conduct training for outsourced teams; * Diagnose systems and propose improvements; * Prepare detailed schedules; * Define actions to ensure the effectiveness of the management system; * Evaluate RAC and propose improvements. * Conduct environmental impact studies and management plans for our projects. * Develop and implement strategies for environmental impact mitigation and compensation. * Monitor and evaluate environmental compliance of ongoing projects. * Assist in obtaining licenses and permits from competent environmental agencies. * Collaborate with the engineering team to incorporate sustainable solutions into projects. * Guide the team on best practices in environmental management. Act throughout the organization as a facilitator of processes with operational areas * **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Sanitary Engineering; * Availability to attend the office and/or operation weekly On-site Model; * Possession of valid CNH B driver's license; * Active Crea registration; * Intermediate level knowledge of Office Suite. * Proven experience working as an Environmental Engineer. * Thorough understanding of environmental legislation and licensing procedures for mining companies. * Demonstrated skills in data analysis, preparation of technical reports and communication. * Proactive individual, capable of teamwork and results-oriented.
