Type: Professional Internship Contract (12 months)
Education: Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate in Engineering

To join the Projects Team at Nestlé’s Avanca Factory, we are seeking a ***Quality Trainee***. Your main mission will be to support the various stages of engineering projects underway at the Factory — from design through to implementation — ensuring strict compliance with Nestlé’s quality and food safety requirements.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
* Support monitoring of the different phases of ongoing factory projects, from design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Nestlé’s quality and food safety requirements;
* Contribute to identifying and mitigating project-related risks, with emphasis on process quality and safety;
* Promote a quality culture at the factory, supporting the dissemination of best practices and adherence to defined standards;
* Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating operational and quality control procedures, including HACCP, QMS, and project-related documentation;
* Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on the “zero defects” objective, collaborating on root cause analyses and applying methodologies such as PDCA or DMAIC;
* Collaborate in conducting internal audits and quality inspections, as well as tracking improvement actions;
* Support the operation of the quality management system, contributing to the implementation and monitoring of standards and best practices;
* Participate in training operational teams, supporting correct application of new procedures and quality practices;
* Carry out other activities related to the role, according to project and factory needs.
**ARE YOU WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?**
* Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Bioengineering, or related fields;
* Availability to start between March and April 2026 (mandatory);
* Intermediate level of English (mandatory);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel;
* Familiarity with HACCP, non-conformance handling, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs);
* Knowledge of ISO FSSC22000 (preferred);
* Proactivity, motivation, and eagerness to learn;
* Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and capacity to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders;
* Adaptability, flexibility, and results orientation;
* Analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail;
* High degree of rigor and customer focus.
