The Technical Maintenance role falls within this department and aims to ensure the proper functioning of the building, sorting and automatic parcel sorting equipment, and other equipment used in operational processes, by executing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Plans. It ensures liaison with suppliers and partners providing assistance and maintenance for faulty equipment, as well as timely provision of activity-related information in accordance with DHL Service Standards and applicable safety requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on sorting and automatic parcel sorting systems, as well as other operational equipment, plus simple corrective maintenance required for the building. * Operate sorting and automatic parcel sorting equipment via SCADA-type systems during Import, Export, and Night operational cycle processes, and interact with operational teams during various stoppages or adjustments. * Record faults across various building equipment, including sorters and automatic parcel sorting systems, and identify maintenance needs requiring escalation to external suppliers. * Monitor corrective and preventive maintenance activities carried out by external suppliers. * Efficiently use automatic tape dispensers to ensure correct sorting and input of information into computer systems or preparation of daily operational reports (where applicable). **Profile:** * Vocational technical qualification in Automation and Robotics or Industrial Mechanics (preferred); minimum: completed 12th grade; * Prior experience in Technical Maintenance roles for servo-mechanisms (preferred); * Knowledge of mechanics (pulley transmission, belts, chains, conveyor belts); * Knowledge of pneumatics (compression, distribution lines, maintenance and operation of 5/2 solenoid valves); * Knowledge of electricity (electrical panel maintenance, consumption measurement, emergency shutdowns); * Knowledge of electronics/instrumentation (RS 232, RS 486, TCP/IP protocol, photoelectric sensors); * Good command of English (spoken and written); * Proficiency in OFFICE365 and ability to adapt quickly to new IT systems; * Strong time management / flexibility and availability; * Focus on achieving objectives; * Organizational skills; * Good interpersonal skills and active listening; **Working Hours:** 8 hours per day (40 hours per week) on a rotating shift schedule from Sunday (after 20:00) to Saturday (between 06:30 and 11:00), with weekly daily shifts scheduled between 06:30 and 03:00.
