Join a nationally and internationally renowned cultural institution The Casa da Música Foundation is recruiting a **Treasury Technician (m/f/d)** to join the Administrative, Financial and Information Systems Directorate and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Foundation’s financial flows. **Location:** Porto, Portugal **Employment Type:** Full-time | On-site This is an opportunity to directly contribute to the financial sustainability of the Casa da Música Foundation by ensuring treasury management, producing accurate economic and financial information, and providing strategic support for decision-making. **Your daily responsibilities will include:** * Managing daily treasury operations, including cash handling, payments to suppliers and staff, monitoring bank transactions and financial investments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable legal obligations; * Managing third-party current accounts, analyzing balances, promoting timely payment fulfillment, and collecting overdue amounts; * Administering banking and insurance contracts, maintaining regular communication with external entities; * Preparing internal treasury and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and quality of information; * Supporting the production of monthly budget execution and management control reports, analyzing variances and key performance indicators; * Operating the Foundation’s ERP system, including recording financial entries, issuing invoices, and classifying transactions by cost center; * Supporting audits and responding to information requests from external entities, ensuring organization and confidentiality; * Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes in coordination with other organizational areas. **Required Profile:** * Higher education degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or equivalent fields (preferred); * Additional training or proven knowledge in treasury and/or management control; * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in treasury, financial management or management control roles; * Knowledge of general and analytical accounting, budgetary management, and legal and tax obligations; * Experience operating ERPs and financial and information management tools; * Ability to analyze, organize and interpret economic and financial information; * Effective time planning and management; * Rigor, sense of responsibility and confidentiality; * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team; * English language proficiency (an asset). **What We Value:** * Results-oriented approach and efficiency in financial management; * Ability to propose solutions and improvements to treasury processes; * Flexibility and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information; * Interest in contributing to the cultural mission and sustainability of the Casa da Música Foundation. **What We Offer:** * Integration into a nationally and internationally renowned cultural institution; * Structured and collaborative work environment; * Employment conditions commensurate with demonstrated experience. **Join Casa da Música and help build a space for cultural innovation, creation and sharing!** Type of position: Full-time Selection Question(s): * Do you have additional training or proven knowledge in treasury and/or management control?
