We are seeking a BIM/MEP Engineer to develop and model HVAC and mechanical installation projects in a BIM environment, ensuring technical and graphical quality.

**Purpose of the Role**
To develop and model HVAC systems and other mechanical installations in a BIM environment, ensuring the technical and graphical quality of models and generated documentation.
To contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BIM tools, templates, and methodologies within the Mechanical Department, acting as a liaison between this department and the BIM team.
**Responsibilities**
* Participate in the development of HVAC, ventilation, smoke extraction, and associated network projects;
* Interpret technical solutions defined by the design team and accurately translate them into models;
* Prepare and organize Mechanical BIM models;
* Model systems and equipment, and produce drawings, schematics, and details;
* Coordinate Mechanical models with Architecture, Structural, and other disciplines;
* Create and parameterize Revit families suitable for project requirements;
* Develop and update templates, parameters, filters, work views, schedules, graphic standards, and modeling methodologies;
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in Revit workflows;
* Support the development of BIM-specific tools for the Mechanical Department;
* Collaborate with the Mechanical Technical Coordinator and the BIM team in defining and implementing internal procedures;
* Support the team in using developed BIM tools and methodologies;
* Participate in coordination processes and quality verification of models and generated documentation.
**Qualifications**
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, technical drawing, BIM modeling, or a related field;
* Professional experience in BIM modeling of mechanical installations;
* Experience in collaborative BIM environments, preferably via Autodesk Construction Cloud.
**Knowledge**
* Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, preferably applied to HVAC systems and mechanical installations;
* Ability to interpret HVAC designs and technical solutions;
* Solid knowledge of parametric modeling, families, shared parameters, templates, schedules, and graphic control;
* Experience in producing and verifying technical documentation;
* Experience using common data environments;
* Knowledge of model coordination and clash detection;
* Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
