As a Supplier Quality Engineer, your primary mission will be to ensure supplier process and product quality and compliance across sourcing, design, and production phases.
**Key Responsibilities include:**
* Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments (manufacturing, logistics, product engineering, process engineering, procurement, sourcing quality, factory quality).
* Ensuring supplier responsiveness meets expectations regarding timelines, criteria, and required formats.
* Reporting, defining, and tracking audit actions—including system audits, process audits, non-conformance audits, and Firewall audits.
* Leading preventive activities within supplier processes: maintaining and applying the lessons-learned database per technology, R\-FMEA audits, and process window restrictions.
* Deciding, organizing, and leading task forces with suppliers; concisely escalating status updates, action plans, and closure visibility.
* Escalation to Procurement: preparing dossiers with key topics and supporting arguments.
* Managing warranty incidents, including reporting to the customer factory as the single point of contact—the theme pilot.
* Ensuring supplier adherence to performance indicators; leading the action plan to reach the expected level.
* Leading suppliers during Sourcing and Design phases regarding process validation: ensuring documentation quality and process progress align with agreed timelines.
**We envision you as someone with:**
* Knowledge of manufacturing, design, and validation of components for the automotive industry.
* Familiarity with quality tools (audits, analysis and resolution of non-conformities, etc.).
* Knowledge in electronics would be an advantage.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Knowledge of manufacturing, design, and validation of components for the automotive industry.
* Knowledge of quality tools: system and process audits, 8D methodology, process analysis and validation (4M, Ishikawa, 5W, IS/ISNOT, FTree, FMEA, R\-FMEA, control plans, and process capability).
* English proficiency at B2\-C1\.
