Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Security Guards to join an international team and ensure onboard security aboard cruise ships, controlling access and investigating incidents. Investigate incidents and conduct security patrols **Contract Duration:** 6 months **Location:** International cruise ships **Position Type:** Full-time, onboard contract **Job Description** We are seeking **Security Guards** with solid experience in private security, armed forces, or public security forces. Selected candidates will join an international team and work in a multicultural environment. **Qualifications and Requirements** * Basic knowledge of the **International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)**. * Ability to recognize, understand, and respond appropriately to potential security threats. * Completed and verified security-related training. * Good physical condition and conflict resolution skills with tact and diplomacy. * Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. * Ability to read, understand, and comply with the Master's Standing Orders, the Ship Security Plan (SSP), Security Standard Procedures, and other security-related procedures. **Main Responsibilities** * Ensure onboard security and compliance with the SSP and Security Procedures. * Control vessel access and perform **gangway security** duties. * Conduct security screening of passengers, crew, and visitors—including personal belongings—to prevent prohibited or dangerous items from entering the vessel. * Patrol Restricted, Controlled, and Vulnerable areas. * Conduct rounds in passenger areas. * Investigate incidents, crimes, and protection/safeguarding matters. * Prepare reports and collect statements. * Report all incidents, crimes, and safeguarding situations. * Participate in trainings, drills, and security exercises.
