In this context, we seek a dynamic, responsible, and motivated individual to assume the role of **Principal Back\-end Developer**, within one of the initiatives we are delivering for this client. Said by former Orange Blood — not by us. **Responsibilities and Duties** Practically speaking, this person will be responsible for **leading the technological and operational components and influencing the product, ensuring close communication with the team and sustaining an ambitious technical vision**. On a day\-to\-day basis, you will: * Serve as the technical reference for the development team * Define backend solution architecture and technical strategies * Conduct code reviews and ensure quality standards * Implement and manage solutions based on microservices and cloud architectures * Ensure high availability, resilience, and application monitoring * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (product, operations, business) * Support technical decisions based on analysis of complex data * Promote continuous improvement practices and DevOps culture **Requirements and Qualifications** For this position, we seek someone with at least **8 years of experience** as a developer and at least **4 years of experience** in technical leadership of development. You will be the right fit if you meet these mandatory requirements: * Experience with microservices, event\-driven, and domain\-driven design architectures * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) * Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) * Experience with high availability, resilience, and monitoring tools * Experience in projects involving a wide variety of technologies and tools * Knowledge and experience with agile methodologies * Familiarity with distributed environments * Experience with .Net * Experience with Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB * Experience with GitHub Actions It will be an advantage in evaluating your profile if you meet these **preferred requirements**: * Prior experience in Retail Tech * Experience in logistics, supply chain, or in-store operations projects * Ability to build scalable solutions for large volumes of data * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field Beyond technical knowledge, we also expect a collaborative, team-oriented profile: * Ability to understand requirements and propose technical solutions * Strong communication skills * Critical thinking and focus on continuous improvement * Strong delivery orientation and commitment to deadlines and objectives * Critical thinking and decision-making ability * Creativity and openness to continuous learning **Additional Information** **This is a hybrid work position requiring 2 days per week at the Client’s office located in the Metropolitan Area of Porto.** In this case, it is mandatory that you already reside in Portugal in a location enabling regular travel to the office. **This position is part of a long-term project.** **Languages:** For this position, collaboration with the FCamara team and the client occurs in Portuguese.
