Real growth opportunities in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Tensai Furniture is recruiting a **Polymer Engineer (m/f/d)** for its new INDUSTRIAL UNIT in Estarreja. If you possess technical rigor, results orientation, and a drive to optimize processes — this challenge is for you. **The Challenge:** \- Production management in the polymer area (plastic injection); \- Processing and transformation of polymers and their derivatives; \- Definition and optimization of injection parameters on manual and automatic machines; \- Support and coordination with product engineering during the industrialization of new projects; \- Analyze scrap, parameter records, and laboratory test results to determine root causes of issues and develop corresponding corrective actions; \- Solid knowledge of polymer production, particularly regarding polymer chemistry, technologies, and manufacturing processes; \- Ensure compliance with existing procedures and work instructions in the department; \- Ensure achievement of department-defined KPIs; \- Ensure adherence to the production plan; \- Propose and implement improvements to the production process and new investments; \- Coordinate projects within your area of responsibility. **Who We Are Looking For:** \- Academic qualifications at the higher education level in Polymer Engineering, Production Management, or a related field; \- Experience as a Process or Production Engineer in the plastic injection field (preferred); \- Experience in injection mold design and maintenance, and injection simulation; \- Experience in people management; \- Knowledge of statistics and data analysis; \- Fluent in English (spoken and written – preferred); \- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; \- Familiarity with SAP software (preferred); \- Proficiency in MS Office from an end-user perspective; **What We Offer:** \- Integration into a leading and innovative company in the polymer sector; \- A collaborative and dynamic environment with multidisciplinary teams; \- International projects and real growth opportunities; \- A corporate culture grounded in sustainability, quality, and excellence. **Application:** Send your CV and Cover Letter referencing (POLIMEROS\_2025\) to: **rh@tensai.pt** Candidates selected for consideration will be contacted within a maximum of one month; if you are not contacted, please note that, in accordance with data protection legislation, your personal data, cover letter, and CV will be deleted.
