Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our international team working on a global project. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high\-performance backend systems. The role is hybrid, 1\-2 times a week at the office in Porto. Communication with the team and stakeholders is in Portuguese and English. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java. Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements 5\+ years of experience in Java backend development. Strong knowledge of Java (11 or newer) and Spring/Spring Boot. Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git). Comfortable working in Agile environments.
