It is based on the Atmel SAMD21 and Murata CMWX1ZZABZ Lo-Ra module. The design allows the board to be powered using 2x AA or AAA 1.5v batteries or external 5v. Switching between power sources is done automatically. WARNING: The MKR WAN1300 board runs at 3.3v. While 5v output for digital devices is possible, bidirectional communication with 5v devices requires level shifting.
