Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for the Mechanical Maintenance team at the Crestuma Hydroelectric Power Plant, with a focus on coordinating and executing mechanical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and project oversight. EDP Produção’s **Central Production Directorate – Douro**, whose mission is to coordinate the operational performance of systems and equipment within its area of expertise, participate in defining maintenance policies, and ensure their implementation through maintenance and safety plans and procedures based on specialized technological expertise—thereby supporting the normal operation of facilities and equipment as well as maintaining established safety and environmental standards—is looking to strengthen its Mechanical Maintenance team at the Crestuma Hydroelectric Power Plant: **Your responsibilities:** * Actively supervise mechanical maintenance teams within the HDR geographic scope, specifically for mechanical maintenance tasks. * Participate in fault diagnosis and collaborate in resolving faults. * Supervise and oversee projects—including major investment works as well as minor maintenance or improvement works. * Interpret mechanical schematics and drawings. * Prepare reports on various activities and report to supervisors. * Lead small maintenance teams. **Contract Type:** Permanent Contract **Work Model:** On-site ***Work Location:***Porto **What we’re looking for:** * Secondary education (12th grade) in technical\-professional courses such as Electromechanical Technician, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Mechanical Fitter, or related fields; * Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical roles, with preference given to experience in Mechanical Maintenance—ideally within hydroelectric power plants. * Proficiency in machine tools and workshop operations. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (mandatory); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (mandatory) and SAP (preferred). * English language proficiency (preferred); * Collaboration and networking skills; ability to work under pressure; agility and responsiveness; curiosity and self\-development; strong interpersonal skills; and team spirit—these are competencies we highly value.
