For our **Amarante factory**, we are seeking a **Production Process Engineer**.
**Role Mission:**
Ensure the industrialization and continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes, guaranteeing efficiency, quality, and competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Industrialization and Introduction of New Products**
\- Participate in the introduction of new products and processes into production.
\- Anticipate industrialization requirements for new projects in coordination with R\&D.
\- Define, test, and validate process and machine parameters.
\- Document manufacturing test and validation results.
\- Propose and implement engineering changes whenever necessary.
\- Adapt production routings, tooling, and manufacturing cycle times.
**Continuous Improvement and Production Support**
\- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
\- Organize and conduct structured problem-solving activities (e.g., root cause analysis).
\- Develop and implement improvement measures focused on cost reduction and process optimization.
\- Provide technical support to production in resolving process-related issues.
\- Participate in development project reviews, contributing to design improvements.
\- Deliver technical training to team leaders and operators.
**Data and Process Management**
\- Validate and maintain production master data (routings, cycle times, parameters).
\- Ensure ongoing updates and continuous improvement of manufacturing routings.
\- Analyze and optimize production cycle times.
**Required Qualifications**
\- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field.
\- Industrial experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
\- Knowledge of manufacturing and industrialization processes.
\- Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
\- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and sense of responsibility
**Preferred Qualifications**
\- Experience in continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
\- Experience in structured problem analysis and resolution.
\- ERP knowledge (e.g., SAP).
\- Experience in optimizing production cycle times and processes.
\- Proficiency in additional languages.
\- Knowledge of specific processes (manual welding, plastic injection, sealing, potting, laser)
